Published July 17, 2011Progress is being made since the newest Del Webb Community, Sweetgrass, opened, Feb 2011 in Richmond, Texas. Sweetgrass has 500 acres of land with a projection of 1500 homes to be built, of that number 100 homes are under contract and some owners have already moved in. Friendly and knowledgeable sales people are excited to explain to prospective purchasers the master planned community with high tech equipment which shows the community along with several decorated model homes. One thing that truly is amazing is the “Lake House”. It is to be built on 50 acres along with parking, a club house, indoor and outdoor pool, amphitheater lawn, fishing pier, 3 miles of walking trails, tennis courts and bocce ball area.
This community is coming along well and is the first of its kind on the southwest side of Houston and is a must see!!!!!
The Cook for the Cure was a huge success with lots of fun and happy future residents!!!!!

Communities can be all-inclusive and monthly fees can start at $2000 and progress upward
Amenities include activities such as: master chef meals, fitness and wellness programs, courtyards, indoor pool, beauty salon, front door trash pick up, social activities on site and offsite, planned activity calendar, fitness area, computer labs and libraries.
A monthly fee along with a contract agreement with an entrance fee is sometimes required.
